PCP hosts Patrons Forum

Earlier this month PCP, who are patrons of the Shropshire Chamber, took their turn to host the monthly forum at their premises in Halesfield.  Over 20 patron members turned up for the occasion and enjoyed an early morning breakfast followed by a presentation from Alex Evans – Managing Director.

Alex explained how technology has both been a threat and opportunity to the printing industry but also how they can work in synergy to increase marketing opportunities and continue to improve environmental performance and reduce carbon footprint with new improved energy efficient machinery.

The patrons completed their visit with a tour round the factory and a demonstration of their Xerox C1000 Digital press, ideal for printing local A4/A5 leaflets and newsletters.

Mark Jones – Sales Director at PCP said:

“It was a great opportunity to show local businesses what really goes on behind the scenes in the print industry.   It is a traditional industry but technology over the last 10 years has had a significant impact.  It could be argued that digital print has taken the place of physical print, however magazines are still as popular today as consumers enjoy the smell, touch and mobility of print.”
